Change Is Good

In our fourth year, Outings & Adventures continues to evolve with exciting changes!

Since its inception, we have grown Outings & Adventure from just 9 email addresses to a member audience over 12,000. In the past two years alone, we have offered over 200 unique O&A events, ranging from trapeze, ziplining, horseback riding, paddle boarding, and paintball, to glass blowing, chocolatiering, sushi-making, architectural tours, and photography class. Throughout, we have remained dedicated to the mission of bringing the GLBT community closer together, and living our best lives.

As we look forward, we will continue to honor that mission, but in new directions to better accommodate our diverse audiences. Outings & Adventures will be streamlined to focus primarily on active travel for gay men, led by Robert. Our women’s membership will be directed to a new and separate entity created by Barbara to focus on outreach, giving, and adventure for gay women and their friends. And, of course, we hope to be collaborating on events that will bring the whole LGBT community together on behalf of both organizations.

We are thrilled with these new changes, and sincerely appreciate your good wishes and patience as we move through this transition period.
