Valentino: the last emperor, directed by Matt Tyrnauer, is a feature-length movie that takes the viewer inside the singular world of one of Italy’s most famous designers, Valentino Garavani. 

 

 

The film documents the colorful and dramatic closing act of Valentino’s celebrated career, catpturing the end of an era in global fashion. But at the heart of the film is a love story: teh unique relationship between Valentino and his business partner and companion of 50 years, Giancarlo Giammetti.

Opening Night, June 12th

Outings & Adventures’ members are invited to attend Opening Night Festivities! Director’s reception, 6pm to 7:30pm, hosted by The Tampa Theater, The Art Institute of Tampa Fashion & Retail Management program and Tampa Bay Fashion Week. 

 

 

Special guest filmmaker, Matt Trynauer, will share behind-the-scenes stories, never-before-seen clips from the film and take questions after the premiere. Enjoy informal modeling featuring local designers, complimentary hors d’oeurves and beverages.
